Welcome to My Homeschooling Corner!
If you’ve read the last few blog posts (or even just skimmed them—no judgment!), you probably know by now that we’re fully immersed in homeschooling. We genuinely love the process of learning at home and finding ways to make it meaningful, flexible, and fun. You also know I’m not an expert—I’m learning as I go, juggling life and lessons like many of you.
And we’re in this for the long haul.
Along the way, I’ve received so many questions about our learning setups, resources, and where we source everything from books to toys. While I do share snippets on my Instagram feed daily, we all know how quickly Reels disappear into the abyss of the scroll.
That’s why I decided to create this blog—a dedicated space to talk about what ’s actually worked for us, what hasn’t, and how we’re navigating this ever-evolving journey.
I hope this space becomes not just helpful, but honest and encouraging. Because let’s be real—homeschooling can feel very overwhelming sometimes. (It is! LOL.)
Here’s a peek at what you can expect from the blog going forward:
Picture books and kids’ reading habits: We’re a reading family, and we’ve hit some lovely milestones in our reading journey. Expect lots of book recommendations and tips on building reading habits.
Themed play setups: We love topic-based play and learning, and I’ll be sharing how we structure our setups and the themes we explore.
Toys and learning resources that actually matter: No fluff, no filler. These aren’t sponsored product dumps—just genuine reviews of what’s helped us along the way.
Myths around homeschooling, virtual schooling, and unschooling: We’ll be busting some common misconceptions and talking about what these approaches really look like.
Socio-emotional learning and coping tools: Because learning isn’t just about academics—it’s about growing emotionally, too.
Alternative education tools and platforms: From online resources to offline communities, I’ll be sharing everything we’ve found useful.
Travel + learning: Yes, the world is a classroom! Expect posts on how we combine learning with our travel experiences.
Interviews with experts: I’ll be featuring voices from the world of education, parenting, and child psychology to bring in well-rounded perspectives.
I’d love to hear from you too—whether it’s a suggestion, a question, or a resource you think others could benefit from. Let’s build this space together and create a go-to hub for homeschooling and alternative education enthusiasts across India and beyond.
Let’s get started!
